Dr. Michael Callahan is a skilled and compassionate practitioner with 20 years of experience in advanced comprehensive dentistry and training. The time and effort Dr. Callahan puts in to his work shows how dedicated he is to the practice and to his patients.
Dr. Michael Callahan is native of Franklin County. He graduated from Franklin County High School in 1979, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1984. After receiving his DMD degree from the Medical College of Georgia now known as Georgia Regents University, in 1990 he completed a GPR residency in hospital dentistry at the Medical College; he currently ranks as a clinical instructor at the Medical College.
He is current member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is trained in Invisible Braces, Lumineers, Cosmetic Restorations, Laser and Implant Dentistry, as well as Zoom Whitening, and Botox.
Dr. Callahan is also a member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and served as vice president of Leadership Franklin, active member of the Franklin County Rotary Club, and a Foundation Board member of North Georgia Technical College. He is eager to see what the future brings to Franklin County, Georgia.
Dr. Callahan is married to Elizabeth Owen Callahan. They enjoy traveling and spending quality time with their 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
